No doubt, it's the best album i ve ever downloaded at jamendo.

Funk, Rock, Reggae, everything is here and everything rocks!

First, I was impressed by the sound quality and the voice of the singer.

Then I was impressed by the originality and the construction of each song.

My favorite songs are
Pain of life : good lyrics
Give me a sign: groovy
Barfly: I confess I like drinking a bit
No more fighting: I thought Bob marley was still alive!
Derniere cigarette: I can't understand lyrics but great atmo!


If i was running a major i would have granted them a million dollar contract!
Anyway,Drunksouls deserve a big buzz!

Complimenti ai Darksouls: il loro rock/reggae è veramente di buon livello, e riesce ad avvolgere nella propria musicalità in maniera del tutto soddisfacente. Personalmente, la traccia che ho preferito durante l'ascolto è stata "There is place": ha un ritmo più lento di altre, ma è quella che mi ha coinvolto emotivamente di più. Ovviamente, ciò non toglie nulla alla qualità degli altri brani (sebbene, a tratti, ci sia qualche rievocazione eccessivamente arabeggiante).
Gradevole, infine, anche la cover.
Insomma: che aspettate a scaricare questo album? Merita davvero.

Voilà une sacrée bonne surprise! Un album ou on a pas l'impression d'écouter la même recette déclinée 20 fois ! La variété des styles abordés donne un grand interêt à la découverte de cet album où on se demande à chaque fois à quoi va ressembler le prochain titre...je n'ai pas tout aimé au même niveau mais je n'ai rien detesté..Et j'ai adoré deux chansons: Derniere cigarette et Barfly!
La chanson United Nations et son texte pas vraiment pro-americain est bien sympa aussi..

barfly, and pain of life are the outstanding numbers. no more fighting is another number i like. al in all a pretty good album with a mix of blues and reggae.

First of all i would like to clear something out that must be generally obvious, the reviews are mostly done for albums that people maybe inpressed by, which is cool, which is totally cool, since we are talking about tags and specific geners of music, if somebody dont care they want be bothered about the reviews of a specific group....

...So for this particular album i only have to say that i am actually more than impressed!!! This is genuine Reggae-Ska sound full of positive vibes and flowing energy! I would dare to comapare them with Sublime and my opinion is that Drunksouls are on their way to offer music equally valuable! Im sure tha Bradley Nowell would have been proud of them!

It is a really enjoyable album alive with sound impact on the type of music under the umbrella of Reggae-Ska! I bet that they would be a great live goup as well!

My one and only request being that they keep up the exceptional work they are into because we fans of this music and tagless music in general need what they give, a lot and they do give a lot!!
