Track one can be slightly off-putting, there is a sound or two in there that had me wondering how good the album may be..

It is worth getting past that as the whole thing is very nice idm

:-)

I'm updating this review to say that this is my most listened to Jamendo album - it's great - look out for the 1st doss-house album too if you like this style ()

This is a very good, consistent IDM album that reminds me of early Boards of Canada.

Best Tracks

Caroline - Music-Has-the-Right-like
Rouge 2 - I-Care-Because-You-Do-like
Selected Ambient Work - Selected-Ambient-Work-like (duh)
Tapis d'Orient - Feed-Me-Weird-Things-like

It only gets 9 though because it isn't original enough and sometimes the influences stick out like a sore thumb.

Keep it up though guys this is some of the best stuff here.

J'ai déjà écrit une critique détaillée de cet album (ailleurs), et comme il serait trop long de me répéter, je vais juste préciser quels sont mes morceaux favoris :
- Caroline : BOCien à souhait, beaucoup d'émotion
- Maison close : superbe boucle, joli travail rythmique
- Arjoli : dommage, c'est trop court !

"The Habitants of Moon" est un bon album homogène. Comme l'auteur de l'avis précédent, je pense que les influences sont fortes, mais elles me paraissent assumées.

I already wrote a detailed review of that album (somewhere else), and as it would be too long to repeat it, I'll just tell my favourite tracks :
- Caroline : very Boards-of-Canada-alike, loads of emotions
- Maison close : a wonderful melody and a nice work on drums
- Arjoli : too bad, it's too short !

"The Habitants of Moon" is a good homogene album. Like Purgatoryfalls, I think influences are strong, but I feel they're perfectly assumed.
