Describe your album

Ken Verheecke's all instrumental acoustic guitar release on Wind & Wheat Music. Gentle, soothing... peaceful...

"A Place Called Home is one of those rare albums that not only showcases an exceptional guitarist at the peak of his craft, but shows how a truly gifted composer, even with only a single instrument at his disposal, can write subtle and straightforward pieces of immense emotional and musical depth. Is this folk music? Is this adult contemporary? Is it some kind of ambient Americana? Amazingly, the answer to all of these questions is 'yes'. This disc truly has something for everyone. Listen to this music NOW." -- Darrell Burgan of Blue Water Records

I've been around acoustic music all my life, played guitar since I was a kid, heard many artists, many songs, many approaches.

This surpasses all of them.

Ken captures the essence of guitar, he plays the soul of music through it, he wraps the listener in feelings that are simple and pure. It will make you listen, it will make you feel, it will move you; you will listen over and over, and be glad.

There isn't a loser on this album - every single cut is a winner - and I say that for the first time in my life.

Quite simply, this is the finest guitar album I've ever heard. Bravo!

This is just amazing! Such peaceful and sweet guitar sounds. The songs have completely enthralled me. Very professional output and finely delivered. The album is a must for anybody who lives in 'noisy' city regions. The sweetness of plucking the guitar strings would ease the daily tensions out of your minds and you will be able to deliver 100 % in your work.

Recommended to everybody suffering from lack of concentration, tension etc. I would prefer you to listen it at the beginning of the day and at evening.

Very nice and professional release of sweet new age tunes performed on guitar that can get kitschy sometimes, which I guess is inevitable for this kind of music and/or depends on personal taste.
Well done.

One of the best acoustic albums I have the pleasure of owning. the production and writing skills are top notch. This album, and "Dreamfield", are a staple on my "set & forget" play list.

This is a must hear album IMHO!

This is such awesome music, usually I listen to techno, rock, metal and stuff. But today I decided Instrumental. I'm happy I chose your album, it is fantastic, it makes me happy!
