An egyptian themed concept CD ....an ambient / electo / ethno /rock / psychedelic excursion which also features electric guitar by SoLaRiS. The song Amun-Ra reached the No 1 spot at Sonys Acid Planet website. This CD and others , are also available via Last FM. The 12 Gates refers to the traversing of the Twelve Gates of the underworld ..... a journey of rituals,death and resurrection in ancient Egyptian philosophy and beliefs.

90s new age?

Some of this album has an early 90s new age/electronic feel to it and reminds me of Tangerine Dream and, to a lesser extent, early Recoil production. The rest is impressively diverse and I love some of the atmospheric synthesizers.
