This was the first Twenty Four Hours "real" album. It was released as a limited edition LP in 1991, exactly on the same day of the start of the first war against IRAQ and Sadam Hussein by USA. It was the 17th of January and the band thought that no day could have been more unfortunate as this for the Twenty Four Hours official debut.
On the contrary, the 510 limited copies of the LP were sold in a few weeks. A good result for an unknown Italian Alternative Rock Band.
The Album was reprinted as a CD by Mellow some years later and today the original LP of "The Smell of The Rainy Air" is considered a "must" by the majority of Rock enthusiasts and collectors.
The album contains the famous cover of "Moonchild" by King Crimson, together with the "HITS" What's on My Back and Switch for Madness.
