Describe your album

Lliendes is the first album published by Xera, excluding the demo published in 2005, in which there were five of the ten songs of the album.

Lliendes maintains the same style of its promotional preview, mixing synthetic sounds with traditional melodies and songs from Asturias.

The 'physical' version, contains the whole work as it was conceived in its origin, forming a single unit, while the version available online (web and P2P networks) offers each song independently in Vorbis (OGG) and MP3 formats.

The whole process, from composition to final mastering, was done in Asturias with Xera's own resources, except the physical CD copies, made in Catalonia.

The work extends its previous Creative Commons license, (by - nc - sa) keeping the freedom of copying and incorporating the possibility of making derived works using the same license.

This is probably the best album I have so far encountered on Jamendo. Often albums have one or two really good songs, and the rest are a little mediocre. This is definitely not one of those albums. Pretty much every song is a great listen, excellent sound quality and execution. I was really struck by the sound. I couldn't figure out if it was all synthetic sounds, or if there were actual orchestral instruments. The execution sounded too perfect to be human, yet to real to be synthetic. My favorite track here is 1934. I love the quick bagpipe rhythm. The cover is attractive as well. Really, there is precious little that could have been improved on here. I can't wait to hear more.

Great ideas and proper execution, definitely a must listen.

Very interesting record combining bagpipe driven folk with synthetized samples. The first songs open the album in a swift folk pace, then the music becomes gradually slower and more new age-ish. The vocal parts are not very often and are written in their native Asturianu.
Lliendes surely deserves attention.

As i listened to the album first of all i heared strong high sounds, that doeasn't sound pleasent... For me with this high sounds little queter and more subtly and this will be awesome album.

One of the best albuns i had hear in Jamendo.Beautifull sound around my ears.
Nubes, Durmite, Liendes are excellent songs, but all the album is a masterpiece.
I can´t wait for more.
Tanks for this music.

This blows my mind as being Scottish, I loved the celtic feeling, and the mixtures of the electro, folk, bagpipe, and especially the violin!

You have got to check this album out, as you will not be dissappointed. As one of the best albums on Jamendo!

All the tracks very nice to listen to and really flawless
i just had a problem with the percussion sometimes. But thats just me! Other than that I really thought it was good.
but beause of the percussion noises its not perfect.
Thanks

Whow! this music really touched me deep inside.

Firstly because I lived 3 year with my kids in Dublin. Sure! Every single note the 3 first songs remind me the pubs, either in Temple Bar or in the middle of Dingle's peninsula, with a band every evening, singing "how much hard but yet nice is life, how strong friendship can be and how much can hurt a treason..."

This album can remind us too this thing: Music is universal and travel through time and space. I'm not a specialist at all, but all the historical links between Spain and Eire made possible this thing: Celtic music is alive in Spain.

Many thanks to XERA to share with us this joy to be alive, to have a very deep background & history.

All the best to you all.
