so, i listened to the whole thing and i'm not sure why i did. this is one of those bands that has the innate ability to write the same song over and over again and call it new. i swear, it was like listening to the same song 4 times in a row. same freaking melody & everything. not only that, there is nothing on here that hasn't been done better by iron maiden. though there are keyboards on here to give it the impression of being progressive rock, it really isn't enough to elevate it. to top it all off, there is some really sloppy playing on here - a definite no no in he world of progressive rock.
so, through all that i can't say i really recommend this record at all. there are touches here and there which did give me pause, (extremely minor touches), and made me consider the idea that there was something to this band, but unless they learn some new riffs and move beyond one drum beat, i can't really see much of a future for these guys.
